Employee Engagement as a SHRM 2015 Focus

Employee engagement was a major focus of this year’s Annual SHRM Conference, but why is employee engagement important? Employee engagement contributes to business growth and development. According to a 2012 study by Gallup, “Work units in the top quartile in employee engagement outperformed bottom-quartile units by 10% on customer ratings, 22% in profitability, and 21% in productivity.
